Description
Jenna Knobloch is a Senior Manager for Markets and Technology for Wildfire Resilience with EDF. She has a background in improving policies and governance across local, state, and national scales and spearheading innovative projects that address urgent topics such as expanding use of prescribed fire, managing air quality challenges, post-fire recovery, expanding indigenous fire stewardship, community access to insurance, and expanding the bioeconomy for byproducts of forest restoration. She works to make forests healthier and communities stronger in places where wildfire is a natural part of the landscape.
Background
Before joining EDF, Jenna served as Senior Wildfire Resilience Fellow in the USDA Office of the Under Secretary for Natural Resources, where she advanced policy efforts in wildfire risk reduction, fire-adapted ecosystem restoration, air quality management, and post-fire recovery. Previously, at Sustainable Northwest, she led large-scale forest restoration collaborations and helped expand the use of prescribed fire through her work with the Oregon Prescribed Fire Council. Jenna holds a Master of Public Policy from Oregon State University and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Portland State University.
